Mission Statement - "Equip within to reach beyond"
Following are six Core Values that we hope will help to answer many of your questions about what we believe. A more detailed description of our beliefs is also available. Let us know if you would like to find out more.
• Learning. Acknowledging the Bible as our authority for faith and life, we learn of God and God’s will as we study the Word personally and corporately. Our interpretation is guided by the Mennonite Brethren Confession of Faith.
• Worshipping. Through personal and corporate worship, we surrender ourselves to Christ and his kingdom. We gather regularly to glorify God, to be spiritually formed and to be united as believers through the preaching of the Word, the use of the arts, and the shared life of fellowship and prayer.
• Growing. Embracing Jesus as our model for daily living, we pursue holiness of heart and life in all personal, family and congregational relationships by the power of the Holy Spirit.
• Reconciling. Having experienced the Good News of God’s reconciling love, we invite people to make peace with God, self, neighbors and all peoples of the world.
• Serving. Grateful for God’s generosity, we invest our gifts of time, talent and possessions for the glory of God and the benefit of others.
• Belonging. United by Christ in a global church, we welcome, love, accept, forgive and nurture people within our reach. As part of the larger Mennonite Brethren family, we also involve ourselves in its ministries of mission, education and faith development.
