Now and Then (Men 60+)
Fall 2009.  The “Now and Then” class is mostly made up of retired men.  We are following the adult Scripture Press “Disciples’ Bible Study Series.”  The class meets in the Hearth Room.  Tim Kliewer, a retired pastor, is the teacher.  He uses Power Point to illustrate and illuminate the Bible material being studied.  The fall quarter will study the book of Luke.

Searchers (Women 60+)
Fall 2009.  We are a group of older ladies who enjoy studying Scripture together. This fall
we will study the book of Luke, using a Scripture Press quarterly.  Our teachers are Carrol Ediger, Janet Hein, and Carol Dick and we meet in Room 304.

Dorcas (Women 65+)
The Dorcas Sunday School Class is a women’s class now  studying the Gospel of Luke, going through the book chapter by chapter and learning of the life of Christ.  This gospel begins with such excitement, anticipation and hope with the birth of the Messiah. Yet, as Jesus begins his ministry he encounters conflict and hostility coming from the religious leaders who oppose his teaching, culminating in his death on the cross.  Throughout his life, Jesus stays focused on his purpose on earth “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cites, also, because for this purpose I have been sent.” Luke 4:43.  We meet in Room 400.

Young at Heart (primarily, but not limited to young married couples)

Young at Hearts
meet in the Library and are primarily, but not limited to young married couples.  Studies focus on issues of spiritual growth.  This fall the group is completing a study in Ephesians and will begin a new study yet to be determined.

Windows (Men and Women 50-65+)

Challenge (Men and Women 50-65)
Fall 2009.  We are a class of men and women that enjoys lively discussions while studying books of the Bible with application to contemporary life.  We also serve as a small group who prays for each other and our familiesThis fall we have chosen Joel for our next in-depth study and we meet in Room 303.

Harvesters (Men and Women 40-55)

Fall 2009.  The Harvesters group (adults in the 40 to 60 range, but not exclusive) is discussing the contemporary video series by Rob Bell; each installment explores a traditional "Christian" assumption. On the last Sunday of each month during the school year, we host a pancake breakfast to develop relationships with community people.  Please join us in the Fellowship Hall.

Basics (Men and Women 40-55)

The B.A.S.I.C.’s class (Brothers and Sisters in Christ) will continue our study in the application of the Inductive Bible Study method. The Inductive Bible Study Method attempts to discover the facts of a text through careful observation and then draw some interpretation of these facts to understand what the writer meant.  The third step is to make applications first in a general way and then move to more personal applications.  We will begin applying these principles in the Book of I Timothy once we have a firm foundation in utilizing this method of Bible study.  We don't seek to turn participants into theologians, but good stewards of the Word of God.  Adults of all ages are welcome to join.  This class is lead by Bruce Bostic in the Children's Wing.

Abundant Life (Parents of young families)
Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."  The Abundant Life Sunday school class is taught by Kirby and Donna Fadenrecht.  They are currently studying "The Power of a Praying Parent".  Anyone is welcome to join them in the Conference Room #219.

Second Cup
Second Cup is currently looking at the book of James, which the Life Application Bible suggests is "to expose hypocritical practices and teach right Christian behavior." Our format is informal, our content can be self-convicting and we pray our results are life transforming. We welcome others to join in - no age restrictions in Room 302.

Topical based study (topics change throughout the year and all ages are welcome)

College & Young Adult - meets for a time of discussion from 9:30 - 10:30 which is led by Matt & Beth Cox.  A light breakfast is also served during this time.
